We are a friendly community of growers in Southend-on-Sea, sharing a love for gardening, fresh produce, and the great outdoors. Whether you are a seasoned green thumb or just getting started, there is always something growing and something new to learn. Follow our journey, get involved, and see what is sprouting in our little patch of paradise!
Trading Hut
Open to the public Saturdays and Sundays 10am-12pm
Our Trading Hut is the heart of the allotment community – a place to grab essentials like compost, seeds, feed, canes, and other handy gardening supplies at great prices. Volunteers run it, and it is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm. Pop by for a chat, stock up on supplies and swap growing tips with fellow plot holders.

On?
We love bringing our allotment community together with friendly, down-to-earth events throughout the year – from casual coffee mornings to fun growing competitions like "Who can grow the biggest pumpkin?" We also celebrate National Allotment Week each August and usually hold a summer get-together, like last year's BBQ and games.
We are working on improving our communal areas and have plans for future knowledge-sharing and seed swap events – so watch this space!
Whether you are in it to grow the biggest veg or enjoy the company, there is something for everyone!
